If you are going to order a donut ask if it is fresh or day old. They look good but they are not necessarily fresh. I bought one and left. I only had two bites but tossed the rest of it. Bread was starting to harden and chocolate was sliding off and leaving a watery liquid on top. What little I tasted of it I probably would’ve enjoyed it if it had been made that day. The Bozo burger was OK and the peppermint shake was good.

Great spot to stop off the highway. Really great prices and good menu. The Burgers were all spot on, the chicken wrap was decent and the fries were good.

Be ready for it to be busy... But if you go the the side that has Pizza (Poppy's) you can order burgers there too!

Great burger stop during the long drive. The burger was great. Staff were super friendly and knew every ingredient in all the food that they served. The fry sauce is also tasty.

Tried the famous Bozo burger just how they made it to get an honest gauge!!

Was a great flavorful greasy burger!! Highly recommend if you're craving a burger and in the neighborhood.

The burgers are great and although I'm not sure, the buns tasted like they were fresh made. I'll be stopping in again for a burger for sure. Great selection of shakes as well. Unfortunately I stopped by for a doughnut on another occasion and was less than impressed. Thinking they would be pretty good after the bun experience, they were not. They were very bland and did not taste fresh. So, go for the burger for sure you won't be disappointed.

So, picture this: I walked into C and D, and the aroma of sizzling buffalo meat hit me like a flavor tornado! ?️? I ordered the legendary BOzo burger, and let me tell you, it was like a party in my mouth! The buffalo meat was so juicy and tender, it practically melted in my mouth with each bite. ?

The toppings were out of this world! They piled on crispy bacon, tangy pickles, melted cheese, and a special sauce that had me doing a happy dance. ? And the bun? It was so soft and perfectly toasted, it hugged the buffalo patty like a warm blanket. ?❤️

But wait, there's more! ? The best part? The friendly staff at C and D made the whole experience even better. They were like burger superheroes, ready to save the day with deliciousness and great service. ?‍♀️?‍♂️

So, if you're up for a flavor adventure and a burger that will make your taste buds dance, head over to C and D for their amazing BOzo burger. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Great food, but not cheap - they even charge for fry sauce and drink refills. I understand that their cost of doing business is high these days. Just don't go in thinking that a small-town drive-in will be inexpensive. Loved the split & grilled hot dogs, and the onion rings were perfect.

I ordered the elk burger and it was a disappointment. It's clearly overcooked and looks nothing like other elk burgers. I'm actually not sure this patty wasn't just ground beef because it didn't really taste like elk either. The place wasn't busy, I wasn't in a hurry, and I even tipped. I wish they would've taken the time to get the burger right.
I also ordered the buffalo burger and that was actually cooked worse. I was asked if I wanted cheese and said yes. The burger was actually so overcooked the patty turned black and was stuck to the bun.

The people inside were nice, the only thing I noticed was when you go to pay they aren't very helpful and just stand there like a statue.

I put three stars because I'm willing to give the place another chance. I'll try a regular burger next time and see how it goes.

Update: They've now closed the lot next door that allowed RV and truck parking. It's completely inconvenient on a trip to visit.

If C&D doesn't own that lot then they can reply to this review. Otherwise I'm reducing by 1 star for now.
