Wow! My experience was been awesome from the minute I had my wine tasting. I was traveling on the Rhone River and our cruise was wine focused. We had a lot of tastings on and off the ship along with visits to vineyards and wineries. So I had many opportunities to taste. I fell in love with this wine and I needed to ship some home. From the checkout process to the serveral emails keeping me informed as to expectations of arrival dates. I had questions and they had been super quick to respond to my email. I'd highly recommend using their service.

I have used Cote d'Or Imports LLC to bring wine from Europe to the US on a few occasions. Recently I and some friends made a substantial number of wine purchases in France. I contacted Cote d'Or Imports to arrange the pickup and shipment of these wines. Due to very high number of wines I was interested in refrigerated transportation from time of pickup until final delivery. They were extremely helpful and gladly arranged the delivery. I was keep appraised of the status of the wines at every step of the way (pickup at various locations, transport to European warehouse, cataloging of the wines and packaging and finally the status of the shipment to me.

I will definitely utilize their services again and would recommend them to anyone who needs to transport wine from the Burgundy region of France to the USA. A truly 5 star organization staffed with friendly, helpful people.

My adventure of shipping a case of wine from Bourgogne to America took five and a half months. Order was received on 5-2-2024 and arrived on 10-11-2024. Cote D Or Imports made the decision to hold the order in Oregon and ship when the temps were conducive for shipping and that was mid-September. I was OK with that decision and held out hopes of getting the wine shortly after. The wine was shipped out via UPS and was returned to Cote D Or Imports a week later. Fed Ex was then used and the order was delayed 2 or 3 times, but finally arrived unscathed. Cote D O Imports did a great job and their Customer Service was exemplary. Problems with US carriers were the issue.

The moral of this review is to be prepared to wait or have shipping complications due to 3rd parties. I am somewhat confused why they would have their wine ship from France all the way to Oregon, but they must have a reason. 4* because of the carriers, otherwise, top notice service.

We recently enjoyed our first trip to France wine country. While there, we ordered a significant amount of wine from both the Bordeaux and Burgundy wine regions. While the Bordeaux orders were handled individually by each Chateau, all of our Burgundy orders were aggregated and shipped in a single larger shipment through Cote d'Or Imports. The process was quick, easy, and convenient. Even better, we were able to save money with our Burgundy orders by having them all grouped together into a larger order. We will definitely use Cote d'Or Imports for future orders!

Absolutely on top of every detail. Easy shipping from the winery or wine merchant in France; it takes a couple of months to get your bottles but they take good care of the wine and if it’s worth shipping home you aren’t going to touch it for a few years anyway!

I wouldn't normally write a review, but I saw there was only one bad review and wanted to share that we did not have a bad experience with them. The only reason I gave 4 starts was email communication. Since there is a much greater time difference, email communication was not super fast, and it was a bit of a question on exactly when our wine would arrive since it was not very clearly communicated. I think the reality is, it's not being shipped by UPS/FedEx, so the tracking is more low tech. They were very accommodating of us changing our wine order after we left France. The shipping is not quick, so you have to be patient. However, they ensure the wine is kept at optimal temperatures throughout shipping. When it gets to US, it has to go through customs and is usually held up for at least a week at a warehouse in NJ before it gets shipped to your house. It was a slow process, but all of our wine made it to the US in perfect condition. It was worth the wait, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Throughout the process - pre-shipment, while the shipment was in transit, and when it came time to schedule the delivery - they were responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. We have used this company for many years for shipping our wines from France to the USA. They have always provided excellent customer services and the wines have been delivered on time, as promised, and in pristine condition. It is reassuring to know when you buy good quality wines in (or from) France that you can rely upon Cote d'Or Imports to get your wine to the US. As an example, we were in both France and Italy in 2017. The French wine via Cote d'Or Import was no problem. The Italian wine delivery (without Cote d'Or) was a nightmare; no refrigeration, customs issues, ground transportation across the US via regular truck, and no pre-arranged delivery date. Cote d'Or Imports will pick up, store in refrigerated warehouses, expedite customs, coordinate delivery and transport via 1 or 2 day delivery, as expected.
