I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS.

So I am not kidding when I say that A & D buggies is the ONLY place in LA you should ever consider when getting your classic VW repaired or maintained. These guys go above and beyond just the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly. And they have tons of knowledge when it comes to these cars.

They think outside of the box, carefully diagnose your issues and repair accordingly.

BEST OF ALL - THEY ARE INCREDIBLY HONEST, ETHICAL in their dealings and surprisingly affordable. The mechanics/techs are also generous with their time and made me feel like my car is actually important to them. Love the corporate culture they got going over there!

- I went in there to replace my clutch - and they could have easily replaced my entire clutch system which I would've gladly paid for. Instead they told me and showed me that I only had a bad clutch cable which immediately fixed the problem. While they had my car on the operating table they also took care of several little things that quickly could have given me major problems while driving - some of which carried serious mechanical risks.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great place. Lots of knowledge. I have been dealing with them since 1978. Back when Vince Melescki used turn wrenches there. Vince was always helping us young guys out. Always has been and I think it will always be that home town bug shop. Wayne is the best! He makes sure everything is good before you drive off.

The owner Wayne is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the industry. I have had work done on many of my cars with them since the 90’s and never had a problem.

Amazing service, and very knowledgeable staff. This place is a hidden gem in world of of corporate auto repair places. They have the answers and the parts needed. You can drop your VW off for service, or buy the parts and DIY like I do.
