The worst, the most dismissive doctor I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t care what’s going on with you, he is very manipulative and will twist your words. He downplayed my serious symptoms,I wasted my time and waited for this appointment to get some answers but I left with huge disappointment and feeling hopeless. This doctor has no compassion, you are just a money check in the line. I won’t recommend this doctor to even my worst enemy. If your health is important for you, stay away and find a doctor who will listen, care and will try to find the cause of your symptoms and not downplay, minimize them, making you feel like it’s in your head.

Dr Mello (together with his son doing a procedure) confirmed my diagnosis of cancer a little over two years ago. He's an old-fashioned compassionate doctor who took the time to sit down in my hospital room and discussed the cancer diagnosis with me. I'll never forget him. He was professional yet personable, a quality often difficult to find among medical personnel. I followed up with him last year, and again I was impressed with his up-to-date knowledge and practice. I had lots of questions and he patiently answered all of them. His office staff has been excellent as well. Just now I called to make an appointment and Stacey took care to find the best appt for my situation. She was quick, efficient and kind. While dealing with a cancer diagnosis, or frankly anything that makes you go see a doctor, it's encouraging to meet kind, excellent people like Dr Mello.

Dr. David Mello is an exceptional physician, after multiple visits to the ER he was the only Dr who figured out what was wrong with me, he takes the time to explain my health issue and plan/procedure needed to resolve the problem. I appreciate his conservative approach-only doing procedures ethically needed. He and his office staff’s attention to detail alleviated my concerns with my health- I knew I was in the right hands for treatment. I am ALWAYS able to reach the Dr and his staff- return call within a few hrs. Both Mary and Nicole explained the process and what to expect. Mary(intakes) was very thorough and expressed compassion towards me, she identified the urgency of my issues and scheduled me right away for a consultation w/Dr. Mello. Within 1 week Nicole booked my procedure-efficient; explained all to expect in preparing for the day. The nurse Dennis called me the day before to discuss preparation and answer any questions/concerns. Dr. Mello provided a f/u call to make sure my issues were resolved. From start to finish my overall experience was wonderful I have never felt sincere kindness and concern towards me in identifying my health issue and resolving it. Dr. Mello is the only physician I will trust to treat my elderly parents. His facilities are clean and organized.

Dr David Mello has been helping my family for years. I have friends that work in the field so when I asked for a recommendation, They all said Dr Mello.

I then went on the reviews and saw so many horrible reviews and it made me extremely worried but I just thought, "worst comes to worst, I won't go back." We seem to forget that when people are happy, they usually don't post a review but when you're upset, it's the first thing you do.

This is a GI office and I can understand people not wanting to share about their GI issues while raving about their Doctor. Or, they're not from a generation that knows how to post reviews.

So, with that being said, Dr Mello figured out my issue right away and was very kind, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. He had me go in for an outpatient procedure and immediately started me on meds. He remembered my family members and even said to say hi which is pretty rare of a Dr to remember patients from years ago.

Don't let angry reviews be the reason why you don't see him because there's a lot of happy patients that haven't posted a review about him but will tell you in person that he's the best of the best.

I loved Dr. David Mello's calm and collective yet extremally professional and confident attitude. He made my wife and I feel we were in good hands and more importantly he gave us hope. in fact he told us I only have 5% chance of having cancer which made the car ride home more nervous since we where in more of a risk of getting into a car accident then me having cancer. As far as the staff I have noting but admiration and thanks for each and everyone of them.

I have spent 2 months trying to even make an appointment for a procedure. Have my authorization. Left numerous messages during office hours and never received a call back. Finally got ahold of office staff and was told Dr. needed to review my info to see if I needed an office visit first or we could just schedule procedure and to call back on Monday (I called on a Thursday). When I called back I was placed on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on. I called right back and office was closed for lunch. So unprofessional.

I now have to get a surgery that has a low success rates if the primary cause is not addressed. Failure of the surgery will result in another surgery which uses a reproductive organ to excrete waste out of. The primary cause was never addressed and still is not addressed. My severe symptoms were minimized by Mello (the son). I was not informed of my pelvic floor & gastroentero health risks given my (1) designated sex at birth (2) age (3) diagnosis (4) medications (5) menstrual stage in life (example peri menopausal). There is no pelvic floor modals highlighting the differences between the female and male pelvic floor. no posters of the types of prolapses and symptoms associated for male vs female, no Bristol Stool Form Poster, and no gender neutral help line poster for sexual assault victims. No option for a female nurse to perform “back end” exams. No LBGQT+ flags are posted in his facility. As my symptoms got worse so did the staff.

All the negative reviews about this doctor is true. I was desperate and vulnerable with my condition but he just rushed me out just because my insurance is not up to his standard. Never had a doctor mentioning my insurance information this many times in such a short visit. I wish he refused my appointment so I could’ve tried and get a different doctor. What a waste of time.
