Daniel and his team did a wonderful job on our new deck and cover! Due to the height and size of the deck, we permitted it through our county. This was not a straightforward or timely process, but Daniel was patient, professional, and diligent from beginning to end. His team was always respectful and communicative while they were working on our property. Daniel was easy to work with, reliable, prompt, and responsive. He addressed all of our questions and concerns that came up during the project, and worked with us until we were satisfied with the outcome. Daniel and his crews do what looks like high-quality work to me, and their bid was the lowest of the 3 we got. We had them replace our main deck and balcony deck with smaller decks (build a new deck with Trex vs. wood), and rebuild a failing retaining wall. It all looks great!

They had to adjust based on finding some issues with our balcony supports, and adapted well after talking with us about how to handle it.

They did use specially treated wood supports that are touching the dirt (or likely will after it rains), and assured me that they will last as long as components that aren't touching the dirt. If you want some other method used, be clear about that.

I hired D and D Decking to replace two structural support beams with a single 20’ beam for my fairly large daylight basement deck. It was not easy to find a contractor willing to take on this project, at a reasonable price anyway. Daniel assured me his crew was up to the challenge and he was 100% correct. In addition to the beam replacement, two posts also needed to be replaced, along with their concrete footings. I was a little worried going into the project, but Daniel assured me his crew would take every precaution so the deck would be adequately supported while the beams and posts were replaced, and they did just that. Upon completion, I am extremely pleased that everything turned out as planned, with no unexpected costs either. Daniel was completely up front throughout the project and was always responsive to my questions and concerns. I would not hesitate to use D and D Decking for future decking projects.

Daniel, Dylan, and team were fantastic to work with. I received multiple quotes from other companies prior to reaching out to Daniel and the decision to move forward with D&D was a no-brainer. Not only did Daniel provide multiple options based on different tiers of Trex products, he was completely transparent and made it clear he wasn't trying to hide any fees or inflate costs. I can't say the same for the other companies I received quotes from. Dylan came back after the project was completed for one minor thing that needed to be done and he replaced a board that had a small crack in it that I didn't even notice! D & D Decking and Roofing did a fantastic job of replacing my two 30-year-old decks with brand new cedar decks. Daniel and his son arrived with their crew promptly each day and worked very hard to stay on schedule. It was a big job and they completed it as promised in about a week. Daniel was very good about communicating at each stage of the work so I knew what to expect. I appreciate the attention to detail, from making sure the quality of the cedar was up to par, the nails were set, and the edges were sanded. They put up a privacy wall, did a colonial style for the rails, and enclosed under the deck with lattice. They were gentle on my yard and cleaned up the job site completely when they were done. They took care of a few unforeseen issues that came up along the way and even broke down an old concrete slab so we could relocate the stairs. They finished with a cedar stain and the new decks are just beautiful! I am so happy with the quality and craftsmanship of my new decks and highly recommend Daniel, his son, and their crew for any job you may have.

Residential Deck Tear Out & Replacement: Excellent experience working with D and D Decking and Roofing LLC. Clear communications regarding project scope and progress updates throughout the construction. Knowledgeable carpenters and a well-coordinated construction crew. This project included an unusual requirement to amend a soil drainage issue which Daniel and crew easily resolved with 100% owner satisfaction!
