I hate to write this review but people need to know what to watch out for. I had a $20k patio and walkway poured in April of 2023. Cracks started showing up in June. Josh promised to come out and fix them. He finally came out months later and said he would have someone out soon. A back and forth text went on for months and months until maybe June of 2024 he came out and cut the cracks and poured in a patch. Patch lasted until the next rain and then now I have a bigger crack. He then promised he would fix it and a person came out and cleaned up the cracks, left and no one ever came back. I contacted Josh and he said his warranty didn't cover cracks but he would come back out anyway. That was two months ago and he said he was leaving the state. I see his business is still open. One thing to have a problem. Another to make it worse, promise to do things and then just disappear. Now I have a mess and it will cost me a couple of thousand dollars to get to look even kind of nice. People keep asking me about it so it isn't just my opinion that it is wrong. I have many many text to validate this review. Sad to see this happen!

It was a wonderful experience to have D and D concrete remove and replace our garage floor. We had an engineer evaluate the floor a few years ago due to large cracks and a huge gap at the back and side between the wall and the garage, and make recommendations for replacement. Josh Daniel, the man who did our evaluation and estimate, proposed the same Plan to repair the floor as the engineer had done, which was very reassuring for us. The team that worked on the garage was organized and very positive. The Foreman, Josh, Created a positive team effort. Each night they cleaned up their work site perfectly, right down to winding up hoses and sweeping up debris. The job came in on budget and on time, Every customer's dream. I would return to them again for future work.

Our large project included a patio, concrete footings, two walkways, driveway, new driveway approach, French drain and sidewalk repair. Josh responded quickly to our bid request and we scheduled a time that worked for both of us for him to come by. During the bid process and project discussion, Josh listened to ALL of the details, taking pictures and notes. His bid was competitive with the others, but we chose D & D because we felt really comfortable with how Josh was committed to clear communication- so important in a big job. He also provided some workable solutions to some of our trickier fixes, and handled all the permits.

The demo and work crew worked quickly to remove the old concrete and prep for the pour. We always knew which days the crew would be on site. Also, we had to put the pour on hold because of some concurrent plumbing work, and Josh was really flexible and helpful with that, even though it changed his schedule. We had clear communication throughout, including between our plumber and Josh.

The concrete work turned out beautifully. All of the different aspects of the project turned out just as we requested- or better. We chose the 'exposed aggregate' finish, and it looks amazing. Our neighbors and passersby even stop to compliment the work.

Josh was prompt to respond to my request for an estimate, quick to produce a quote that was affordable an inclusive of the entire scope, contract execution was straight forward, and he prioritized being on time and on schedule. From the moment I reached out to him to provide a quote to the date of completion is was about a month and a half. The quality of his work was exceptional and his crew pays attention to details. I highly recommend contracting them for concrete work.

I was actually on site during a large city sidewalk project and I can't speak enough about how efficient and detail oriented this company is. Ryan Shaw was extremely knowledgeable and professional, he directed and oversaw the project ensuring everything ran smoothly. There were a lot of moving parts on this job including tree falling, flaggers, utility locates, residential housing and traffic, heavy equipment operations and clean up. Again very impressed at the well oiled machine D&D is!

The cost was absolutely reasonable and it was obvious that they were interested in doing the job right (which included communicating with me about timeframes during a storm).
