I’m very confident that my significantly painful body areas will improve soon and Dr. Thompson n his team give me reassurance this will happen. Being a patient patient is not easy for me as frankly, this body has other places to be, but injuries take time to heal darn it, and this is the team I am fortunate to be able to work with and look forward to Golf Season even if it starts a few weeks later this season. Goodness sakes, what a great place!
Dr. Thompson has a wonderful attitude and takes time to listen to you and I will be honest I am a talker LOL!

I did a lot of research on local orthopedic and PT places and everything seemed like the ortho and pt were just a little too separated for my liking, I really wanted an ortho doctor to collab with my pt to create a custom plan for me. That just was not happening at a level I was happy with, with all these other places I called and spoke to.

Half of these places told me that they would not use Image work to take any information into consideration when developing a PT plan, which seems absolutely silly to me, thank god I found them!

Everything about this place from their website presentation, their transparency on pricing and the fact that they not only do ortho and PT but also PRP injections AND all of the imaging work in house really made me feel like this could be what I was looking for from the moment that I reviewed their website.
More importantly though after meeting with Doctor Thompson it was clear that his involvement with the physical therapist who is going to help me is on the level of creating custom plans for my injury.

I feel confident in the treatment plan that he has laid out for me and I really feel that he collaborated with my wants even as someone who is new to orthopedics and physical therapy and had expectations about custom treatment plans.

He talked me through my ideas and wants and we laughed all along the way. What a wonderful experience!

Don't let just anyone stick a needle in your neck!

I personally can't recommend going here, based off of my experience.

I met the doctor, and we had to have an in-depth discussion about the faults of our healthcare system and the role he plays, because, at step one, it felt like his doctor perspective was greatly disconnected from what us Average Joe patients experience and go through with respect to chronic pain as well as cost to manage chronic pain.

I felt pretty brushed off, but I followed the process, and I did exactly as I was instructed. The doctor was nice enough to meet me in the middle with lidocaine patches that insurance would not cover unless I had cancer (so the good doctor said).

After getting an MRI, I was told that injections might be helpful for my bulged disc in my neck. To me, this would be a lot better than relying on medication, at least. I went forward with the injection, and I had a very poor experience.

For the procedure, I arrived at the clinic an hour ahead of time, and I was not called for my "appointment" until nearly 20 minutes past time. After waiting an additional 20-30 minutes, they finally got me prepped and ready. Reception staff were clearly fed up with their jobs, and it was absolutely apparent that they'd rather be doing other things.

The doctor was 15 minutes late. Hardly said a word when he entered the room, and he just got to work without much bedside manner. I even tried cracking a joke to lower the anxiety of the room, but he wasn't having it.

He explained that I would not feel pain, but that was inaccurate, and I was suffering on the table throughout the whole procedure. He asked how I was doing, and I was clearly not doing well. I felt very uncomfortable asking him for help, because it felt like he didn't really care about me at all.

After I was wheeled out, the nurse made a comment about how little medicine the doctor used, and that's when I started to feel like less of a person. The nurse saw how much pain I was in and worked to get me some pain medication, which helped.

She was the only one that stepped up and went to bat for me that day.

While pain has improved slightly, I can't say that it was worth all the annoyances of the patient experience I just outlined.

I don't want to hear any excuses about being short-staffed or this or that. We are people that deserve quality treatment, especially given how much we all pay, and if you can't ensure that, then I don't think you should be a medical professional. If you're short-staffed and can't ensure good quality of care, the total price needs to go down to reflect that.

We patients are holding up our end of the deal by paying our premiums and bills. Your organization needs to ensure that the quality care is being met across all patients, and consequences need to be given out to those that can't treat people like people. Plain and simple.
